My new favorite lip color is this lilac purple from Covergirl. It’s such a unique shade but it’s so pretty! I wanted to try something a little different from the usual and mix the purple shade with a light pink shade from Revlon for an ombre vibe. The end result was gorgeous and I can’t get over the lipstick 😍 I kept the rest of my face simple with some neutral eyeshadow, I wanted all the focus on my lips!
My makeup routine for foundation, concealer, and powder is the same as it is in my everyday makeup look. I primed with the e.l.f. blurring primer and blended two foundations: itCosmetics CC cream (one pump) and Make Up For Ever’s Ultra HD Foundation (two pumps). I used my beautyblender for this task! I blend all the way down my neck, too. For concealer, I used itCosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye underneath my eyes and Maybelline Superstay Concealer for anywhere I had redness (chin, nose, forehead). I set everything with my favorite powder, Tarte Amazonian Clay Pressed Powder. These are all products that I almost always use on my face, I can’t live without them!
I got a few inquiries about what shades I use for foundation/concealer. For the CC cream, I use medium. MUFE HD foundation is in the shade Y245. As for concealers, I have the shade neutral for itCosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye (always go one shade lighter for under-eye concealer) and the Maybelline concealer is in the shade 20. The lipstick shades I wore are: Cosmo Kitty (Katy Kat Matte/Covergirl, purple) and Crush (Revlon, pink).
I just got the Tarteist Pro eyeshadow palette from Tarte and it’s my new favorite palette. I’ve been using it a ton for eyeshadow looks. It has a lot of purple shades with go really well with my copper hair! Focusing on the eyes, I applied vintage all over my eyelid and blended innocent on my crease. In the outer corner, I blended bold and ethereal (for a little shimmer). That’s it! I kept my eyeshadow warm and simple, I didn’t want to over-do it. I used Revlon ColorStay eyeliner and CoverGirl Bloom mascara, both in black, to finish off the look. For my brows, I lightly applied Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade ebony.
