easy summer makeup tutorial.

How is it Thursday and I still haven’t shared a blog post? Agh! I’ve been so busy but I managed to throw this makeup tutorial together. I always enjoy a quick and easy makeup look and if you’re a beginner, I gotchu! This makeup look has been on repeat the past week because it’s so easy and light. I hate a heavy makeup face for the summer, so I’ve been substituting foundation for concealer. Plus, I’ve started applying…FAKE FRECKLES. I have a few freckles on my face, but I love a freckled face so I’ve been using some product to apply little dots. See all the details below 👉🏼

products used:

tarte shape tape concealer, tarte amazonian clay pressed powder, bareminerals blush (shade: rosy topaz), tarteist pro eyeshadow palette, anastasia beverly hills dip brow + brow wiz + contour kit, maybelline lash sensational mascara, mac eye kohl (shade: costa riche), maybelline matte lipstick

For my face, all I did was apply a thin layer of primer and grab my concealer. I go around my nose, under my eyes, chin, and just a tiny bit on my forehead! This covers everything and blends really well with a foundation brush OR beauty blender (I like to use both). I set everything with my all-time favorite setting powder, Tarte Amazonian Clay Pressed Powder. MAGIC. Lastly, to add some color, I apply some blush and fake freckles.

For fake freckles, it’s really easy, trust me. Just gently dot your face with a sharp eyeliner pencil (I use this one) and then blend in with your fingers/beautyblender!

I added some glow to the corner of my eyes with the Tarteist Pro palette (shade: glam) and mascara. Always lipstick, too! My favorite drugstore lipstick, and the one I used in this look, is Maybelline but all sold out. But this guy is another favorite 🙂

Happy Friday, what’re your plans for the rest of the weekend? My sister is getting married tomorrow, so it’ll be a fun and happy weekend!

You look great with or without fake freckles. I never knew you could make them. Will keep those brands in mind but I rarely use a lot of makeup.

  12. 06/10/2017 / 6:13 pm

This is a great look! I struggle with eye makeup as I get older…my skin isn’t as tight as it used to be and it becomes really hard to get the look I want.

  13. 06/10/2017 / 11:08 pm

I can’t believe you applied fake freckles, I’ve been trying to cover them up my whole life!

  14. 06/10/2017 / 11:39 pm

I love how this make-up highlights your eyes! It suits you well, you’re very beautiful. And I also appreciate the tutorial! I think I can pull this off.

Your brows are so on point! The Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette and the Tarte Shape Tape are on my to buy list.

  18. 06/11/2017 / 9:08 am

Love your makeup. I’ve always wanted to try the fake freckles and didn’t really know how until you. Thanks for that and I’ve been wanting a new concealer and this looks lovely.

  19. 06/11/2017 / 6:31 pm

Your lashes are stunning! I’m all about an easy routine right now because it’s blazing hot in Arizona. No one wants their face melting when they walk outside.

  20. 06/11/2017 / 7:08 pm

That is a very pretty, natural look! I really like that! With summer I always feel that less is more!
