Happy first day of March! I can’t believe February is already over, it went by so fast 🚕 I spent all of yesterday in Chicago with my sister (cue: this post) which was super fun! We walked the magnificent mile, visited the bean, went to the Lincoln Park Zoo, and more. Thanks to everyone who gave us some ideas on what to do! Anyway, you all know I love a good drugstore product because they tend to be cheaper and last longer than high end (although it definitely depends on what product you buy) and I can buy at Target. Win win 😉 Anyway, I’ve found a few bomb drugstore products that definitely need to be shared with all you lovely readers! And if you want even more inspo, check out my post on what’s in my bag for January and February (spoiler: it’s overflowing)
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation: I asked on Facebook in a beauty group what one of the best foundations was (any price range) and I was surprised to see how many recommended this foundation! My miracle foundation is MUFE and itCosmetics (I combine them), but it’s also $80 which I keep putting off to spend. I love how this works on my skin and it lasts all day. It’s a little light for coverage, but you can only get so much in a foundation when it’s less than $10! got the shade ‘True Beige’ or 222 and the matte + poreless finish. They have foundation for dry skin and foundation for a dewy finish, too!
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser: I just started using this primer in January and am obsessed. It’s really similar to the e.l.f. primer but this baby smooth primer works really well on the eyes (for applying eyeshadow and eyeliner) and helps reduce redness. Score!
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm: YO. I shared about this lipstick on my Instagram Stories but in case you missed it, this lipstick is my new favorite. I LOVE how matte and creamy it is and it lasts for a few hours without having to apply (I applied 3 times throughout the day). I got the shade ‘Unapologetic’ or 210 and it’s crazy bright. I didn’t think it was going to be so bright and neon, but the shade is really pretty for spring and summer. I also ordered ‘Elusive’ which is a little lighter and more of what I’m looking for!
e.l.f. Natural Lashes: I talked about these lashes in this post and I’m still using them for blog photos and night-outs/lunch dates/etc. They are a little heavy but you get used to them, especially if you use them often or are already used to falsies! I love all the different lashes you can buy, Target normally only has dramatic and natural, but my favorite would be the
L’Oreal Brow Stylist : I grabbed this eyebrow product when I ran out of my ABH Brow Wiz and use it every day! I have been using the spooley and just dipping the end into the pot and blending into my brows. It creates a really natural look which I adore (especially for spring/summer).
Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water: If you haven’t heard of this cleanser, where have you been? I’ve seen it all over beauty blogs and ‘grams and finally got around and bought it. I use it as a makeup remover, but I’ve heard you can use it as a face cleanser!
NYX Cosmetics Blotting Paper: I throw these papers in my bag and car whenever I need to fix my makeup. They’re really great if you have oily skin or your makeup finish is dewy! NYX is one of my favorite drugstore brands, their highlighter/illuminator and brushes are perfect 🙋🏻
