I ordered the BeautyCon subscription box a few weeks ago because I have been looking for a subscription box that has full-sized beauty products, which is surprisingly hard to find. Most boxes have 2 full-size and 3 sample products which I don’t want and I tend not to use those samples (I have an entire jar full of samples I’ve gotten for free at Sephora). This box is only $29 and it comes out every season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). I’ve been wanting to try this box for a while and I finally was able to get my hands on it! I love finding new beauty products but whenever I go to Ulta or Sephora, I always reach for my tried-and-true items (oops) which is one reason why I love beauty boxes like this one.

My first thoughts when I got this box in the mail was that the packaging was way too cute. Floral and checkers are definitely spring patterns and so pretty! There is a total 0f 10 products in this Spring box and all are listed on an information list. You also get a flower sticker, which I threw away lol.
I was excited to see this product in this box because I’ve been feeling like my hair has been damaged and dry lately. This is perfect for treated hair because it helps protect color, locks in color, moisturizes and replenishes hair strands + more. Ogx has been one of my favorite hair products because I can find at Target and they are pretty affordable!
NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick in the shade Rose Petal Pop ::
NYX is one of my favorite drugstore brands and I love illuminators. This one comes in a handy stick which makes it easy for applying. I wouldn’t call this an illuminator, it’s more of a shimmery blush. I wouldn’t use this as a highlighter since it’s pink but it would make a pretty blush. I was hoping this would be a more neutral shade that would work as an actual illuminator/highlighter, but this is too pink to wear as a highlighter. However, they do come in several different shades besides this pink!
IBY Mineral Pressed Blush in the shade Peach Sheen ::
Although this is another blush, I love the shimmery peach shade and it’s perfect for the upcoming months. It’s a little small, but I have so many blush’s that it will take me a while to finish it (slightly embarrassing…) I’ve been looking for a peach blush so this was another great pick!
The BrowGal Brow Palette in the shade Medium Brown ::
I am all for brows. I can’t go anywhere without doing a little something with my brows. This palette has three different shades which I love because I find it hard to find the right shade for my brows (since they’re dark but warm), so I can mix and match these creams. It also comes with a brush, a spoolie on one end and an angled liner brush on the other brand. I use a spoolie whenever I want a more natural look for my brows and use the angled liner to fill in for a dramatic vibe.
I have a ton of brushes (just posted about how to clean brushes here) but I’ve never heard of this brand. As for this brush, it doesn’t seem like it has many bristles but I’m definitely a fan of the pink! How cute?! I have been using this brush as a contour and blush brush and it works great because it gives a nice finish, nothing too heavy or too light. Plus, no fall-out from the brush. I can’t stand when a bristle ends up on my face, there is nothing worse.
When I first got this it looked pretty warm, a shade for converting from summer to fall. I then swatched it and it ended up being a really pretty deep strawberry shade perfect for summer. This has a matte finish which is perfect because I only wear matte lippies (although I have a single lipstick that has a glossy finish to channel my inner 90’s kid)
I had no idea what dry oil was so I ended up googling what it was and how I could use this. It’s really just what the packaging says, an oil that you can use on your body, face, and hair. This oil is supposed to help with softening your skin (YAS) and keeping your hair silky. I haven’t used this yet, but I can’t wait to see the results and if it actually works!
The product I was most excited about was this eyeshadow palette. I was just about to jump onto Instagram to ask where I could find a neutral eyeshadow palette when I opened up this box and found this little guy. I am obsessed. This palette has so many gorgeous neutral shades that would be perfect for a smokey eye. Since this palette is ‘around the world’ they have really fun shade names like Rome, Italy, New York, etc. PLUS, the packaging is so cute, too. Definitely one of my favorite palette packages. There are 12 shades and all are tan/brown. Plus, the eyeshadow is very potent and lasts all day!
The last product are these wipes from Garnier. I love their micellar water and creating towelettes is such a good idea. It’s so easy to remove makeup with them! if you have sensitive or problematic skin, this is the perfect skincare product for you because it cleanses, soothes, works for all skin types, dermatologist tested, and fragrance-free. Yep, it does allll of that.
Those are all the products I received from this box. I am in love! I’m incredibly impressed with this box because there are 9 full size products for only $30 and it’s a great way to try out new products. Have you tried Beautycon before? What’s your favorite product from this box?
